Race Calendar

One of the most exciting and fastest growing sides of Indoor Rowing is the high octane world of real life competition. Online rowing is fantastic. Uploading times and challenging yourself against others is motivational. But until you're on the floor next to 100 other warriors all sweating out anything from 100m to 100Km - there will be a gap in your indoor rowing experience.

The big races (mostly non-US - as the Concept2 website is the best place to go right now) to look out for are:

  • Crash-B (World Indoor Rowing Championships)
    (Usually February)
  • Canadian Indoor Rowing Champinships
    (Usually February)
  • Australian Indoor Rowing Championships
    (Run for a couple of weeks in November usually)
  • British Rowing Indoor Championships
    (Usually December)
  • English Indoor Rowing Championships
    (Usually January/February)
  • Welsh Indoor Rowing Championships
    (Usually November)
  • Scottish Indoor Rowing Championships
    (Usually October/November)
  • Devon Indoor Rowing Championships
    (Usually September)
  • Irish Indoor Rowing Championships
    (Usually January)
  • European Indoor Rowing Championships
    (Usually January/February)
  • South England Indoor Rowing Championships
    (Usually January)
  • Midlands Indoor Rowing Championships
    (Usually March/April)
  • Greek Indoor Rowing Championships took place in Jan '17 for the first time. Hopefully they'll return next year.
  • It's hard to believe that this is the extent of competitions that happens from year to year. Although we'll continue to hunt and add in as many events as we discover, this can grow with your help if you take the time to contact us with your suggestions.
